Generationally speaking, GenX (Pluto in Virgo) and GenY (Pluto in Libra) share some traits not found in their parents or grandparents (Pluto in Leo/Cancer).

Previously I riffed on the differences between Virgo and Leo. I might have been a touch harsh on the Me generation, but, hell, they deserve it. Fear not, vain lions, I will harsh on my own Virgo generation in a future post. And of course, as my Leo wife pointed out, Leos crave praise. So I will also write a post on how fabulous Leos are.

Virgo and Libra both crave modesty, though the approach it from different angles. Virgos, being Virgos, are naturally modest. Think not so much of the young girl, as of the untested initiate, cautiously dipping his foot in the waters of something much bigger than himself. This mentality describes both Virgoan modesty and Virgoan humility. Libras come more from a sense of fairness or justice – perhaps I’m splitting a fine hair between modesty (Virgo) and moderation (Libra).
